06' SLK55 w/030 pack
Angry 030 wheels

drop car off for service. Stealship called and said I had rt front bent wheel $1900. What *****s. I am losing faith in MB.

you don't need to buy a new one ... btw the price on the 030 rims from the factory are silly. THey aren't even that good. They are heavy as hell and you can drop around 18lbs a CORNER by going to Renntech, Carlsson, Fiske, HRE, etc.

LET ME REITERATE ... EIGHTEEN POUNDS A RIM.

I agree, They sure look Terrific , however you could gain quiet alot by changing to a lighter wheel. I personally would stick with the tuner's offerings, I see many HRE's etc. Carlssons look terrific, however they are expensive but if you could get them that would be good as they offer some wide and aggressive setups in 19" trim for the SLK.

why not get lighter cheaper rims of the same spec offset, diameter, and width?? Sounds like a winner to me and no issue of clearances as they are the recommended size.
