HRE is very nice. Top of the line. But that link doesn't work. 
Monoblocks are traditionally lighter, but stronger.
Being forged in the highest quality aluminum, I would assume they are strong
"enough". Depends how extremely crappy the roads are that you drive on.
The lip is definitely a different look. For example on the M3s, I prefer no lip, concave spokes, 1 piece wheels. On the SLK, I like wheels with a little dish and 3D.
I wish I could see these M40s, never heard of them.

Wyatt. what do you mean they won't fit the SLK so well? do you mean visually they will look wierd? like being 19" they take over the car too much? too prominent? the M40, which is the P40 for porsche, is specifically for the mercedes..... but, that porsche is hot for sure....

you know, those M43s are pretty cool too. trying to visualize...they are very unusual...alroumi, only offered in chrome and brushed aluminum. is b.a. close to anthracite?

They will phsyically fit, I am just worried about the design fitting the lines of the car aesthetically. It might be HOT, it might be NOT, really can't decide and can't imagine...
