take it you had the car re-aligned after installing the springs? Sometimes after lowering you need to adjust the alignment settings as it changes suspension geometry.

Where is your excessive wear at?

Think I have same problem. At big bumps the tires hit the sharp edge of the inside of the front fender. That the same with you? Anybody any ideas?

Front tires are fine here. Rear tires are wearing a little more on the inside edge. However, SLK55 has never been easy on the rear tires anyway.

Here's a fix for the front... https://mbworld.org/forums/showthrea...t=front+fender

300E a couple 1994 w124wagon E320 Wagon/,1971MGB Track/Rally, MG Midget Autocross ,2000 E320 wagon.
Lowering

2 inches can take near perfect -.5 rear camber down to tire wearing -3 degrees.
front and rear camber kits from k-mac or custom coil overs can get it into spec.
Have fun after all it is only money
http://www.k1motorsport.com/mb/suspension.htm
k-mac also has a direct web site
lensolo and speedybenz may make a link bar also.

Yes, I make a kit for the rear tires. See it at: www.speedybnz.com

The site also shows directions.

The R171 is not listed. If you do make it, is the 350 and 55 model suspension the same? What is the cost?
