HPS Superchargers?!?!
Anyone know about this company? Ive contacted them with a lot of questions just curious to see if anyone has had an experience with these SCs or knows someone who has? Not saying im getting one just found it interesting there is a cheaper alternative to RennTech or Keelmann!

Caveat emptor.
One hapless member was none too pleased with HPS…https://mbworld.org/forums/c32-amg-c55-amg-w203/130280-need-advice-adding-more-power-hps-sc.html
He has since ditched it for a Kleemann.

God lol that was the longest thread ever! Long story short he didnt like it and got rid of it. But did he get rid of it due to problems or due to the fact he wanted more power and couldnt mod or wast advised to mod the vehicle more?

Please be more specific when you web search something. J/K!!
I'm planning to go with Kleemann because I think they have the most "reasonable" solution for the SLK, if it weren't for the CLK BS, I would be driving it down to GMP for the install as we speak. Oh well, maybe I will get one around September.

Free is still not free ... think of all the time you would be wasting just to get it to run right. Or all the time taking to get it fixed ...

I got a slightly used Twin-Screw Kleemann for $7500 and it just blows the HPS away! With all the mods I added I was only able to get 389rwhp while the Kleemann has got me over 450rwhp without all the other stuff like Methanol Injection, larger injectors, colder plugs, etc.. I sold my HPS for $3500 and for that price the buyer still got a good deal.

Yes the Quaife will fit an SLK55. Check with Vadim @ VRP Performance Tuning at he will get you a good deal. Quaife is definitely my second best mod next to the Kleemann SC.
