Recall?
I received the email below from the MB dealer closest to where I live. This is not the dealer where I bought the car, and I've never had it serviced there. Anyone know what this is about? Is it merely the dealer trying to drum up service business?

Doesn't sound like a recall, but if you go through some of the bulletins for the SLK, there are a few things which got fixed over the course of the years.
For example, the gearbox has had a few software updates to it that fix things like hard downshifts.
In their words, it's a routine check to see if you can is eligible for any upgrades/fixes.
