SLK 55 Black
car currently has over 410hp RWHP I think it was around 430-450 rwtq I forgot. I think I posted the numbers earlier somewhere.
Pretty much take your crank hp and convert it to RWHP and add a little more.

Btw over 35k miles on the supercharger and running strong.
Renntech's kit is more expensive than Kleemanns and you would need to get a price check(call them). The Kleemann kits are on sale right now for dirt cheap.

Has anyone seen an SLK Black for sale in the UK recently. Would be interesting to see what the prices are like. Have seen a normal high mileage SLK 55 recently at a low price. So it got me thinking again, oh dear, about stripping one down for track days like I did with a previous CLK55. The weight loss would not be as great, but it will make a difference. Has anyone done this on here? I would like to fix the roof and install a roll cage etc. Problems come with electrics being disabled on these cars and I would need help with that area. The Asia Cup is attractive, are any floating round on the market?
Thoughts welcome.

with that success, doing slk55 next, but unlike most that are just 'top swaps' of supercharger over high compression n/a engine, means the piston ringlands are very prone to melting, this one will be getting a strengthened m113k engine with 2.9l whipple.
it will be ridiculous, lol.
I have a very similar view as well, I am happy with the current C and S mode but just annoyed with the shifting delay of the M mode. I understand the TCU mod will not turn the 7G to a DSG or PDK box but I am sure it will be a tramendous improvement. Like you said, does it worth US$2,500 to try the TCU mod or US$4,500 for the package deal? I am very very tempted to try the full package deal but the pricing and their knowledge on the Black Series determine whether I will consider.
I look forward to his reply.
