SLK 55 2005 Warranty

Mercedes wasnt £1057 for a one year warranty.

My car has covered 11500 miles and is in perfecr condition.
I do drive it hard though.

Is it worth gambling nothing will go wrong for another year or should I take the warranty out?

Your views please

My wife is also considering this extended warranty. They want $4129 for an extra 3yrs/36k miles. I told her to cancel it since it's overpriced. I hope we don't have any further problems with this car.

Items that were replaced under warranty:
1) Weather seals all throughout due to window grease problems
2) Valve body due to harsh upshift/downshift on gears 1-2-3
3) Rocker arms due to valve ticking noise
4) Valve cover gaskets due to oil leak
5) Air bag sensor due to burnt resistor

Did you really have a head gasket leak? Or was it the valve cover gasket? Head gasket leaks are pretty serious issues... I hope mine doesn't go out.
