My 2005 SLK55 has sporadic battery discharge. Battery may be dead after a couple of days or may start after no use for a week. Always remove key from ignition and park in garage. Only sign of problem is occasional message "display malfunction". Anyone with thoughts?

Sounds like you have some management modules staying active after shoutdown..dealer could test
