Has that car got the ugly black aerial/antenna on it or has it got the more pleasing "stub" antenna as featured on the F1 Safety Car SLK55?

is it just me...or does that look like a crossfire with some slits/gills in it? "they're speed holes!" i mean forgetting all the slight MB stuff like the star in the middle and the special rims. but then again i thought my W208 CLK was ugly when it came out.

As a current owner of an SLK32 I am with holding my final opinion of the SLK55.
My initial impressions:
SLK55 has a much better interior.
Not a huge fan of the SLK55 exterior, but I expect it to grow on me.
SLK32 better engine choice.

well, I like the exterior and interior, but thought of the engine mmm, V6 supercharged or V8 . . . .
similar horspower , 354, 360 , 440nm (i think) 510 nm
so the V6 isnt alot lower ...
can someone tell me the advantage of the V8 against a V6 komp.

so to change your question, the advantage of the v8 over the v6 is simply more power, and a hand-built amg engine.

I think he was talking about the SLK32 vs. the SLK55.
It is easier to get more power out of the SLK32. Pulley and Chip will give you ~90 ft.lbs and ~50hp in the midrange, can't remember what peak is changed to.
