panda ;-)
with all due respect :-) - but Panda Express is horrible !! It's okay for fast food, but it's not chinese food at it's best (which is when they stuff is fairly fresh around lunch time because it's crowded).
Now, PANDA INN, which is owned by the same people, is fantastic. As chains go, it's probably better than the P.F. Changs. That's good chinese food ! :-)
Either way, I don't think anyone meant any disrespect to anyone :-)

ah! Fair enough. I don't like Fried food too much, so I will admit I never tried their fried fare. And frankly the Orange chicken and some of the other spicy chickens dishes are ok. But their beef is terrible. In my opinion anyway ;-)

exactly thats a rude comment calling someone "panda express guy" just because hes from Shanghai.
i find it a lil rude and a lil racist not that you might of meant it that way but it is at least a lil ingnorant.
sounds like what a ignorant caucasion person would say to a chinese person
trying to be friendly and joking but inside the chinese person is thinking what an idiot.

Try going to a real Chinese restaurant ordering real Chinese food. The items you guys mentioned are the typical Chinese food catered to the "white man". It's greasy, colorful, chop suey crap that most Asians shun.
Really, consider going to a real authentic Chinese restaurants. How do you know it's real? Well, you'll see it packed full of Asians, especially older folks.

A collegue of mine (from China) takes us to the 'real' places quite often. China's cuisine being so varied, he's more of a Cantonese-style fan, while i like the northern spicyness. If you're in a Dim Sum place that has everyone eating chicken legs, you are pretty authentic :-) - for a small geographic part of chinese cuisine.

yum! AMG ;-)
Now we're talking (Sushi and Panda-Express-if-one-only-has-20-mins) :-)
I am Sushi snob, but I like Sushi Roku in LA, and you can't beat Nobu or Noby next door in NYC or Matsuhisa in LA. Of course, you can't beat their prices either :-)

hey kid, you're in the wrong forum! go to the SLK 350 forum!
My point on *this* thread is that it went from a topic about *ordering* to *chinese food*
May be a stretch, but if you're talking about ordering Chinese food, and picking it up to go in your SLK55... now that's a thread to get into!

Anyone of you guys have a projected delivery date for your SLK55 yet?
I was "#5 on the list" for my Dealer back in May when I put my $1k down. Me & my wife picked the options about 2 wks ago & heard a probable mid Jan delivery. I doubt it....maybe I'm too pessemistic - I dunno (Jan just seems too quick).
Just curious what everyone else is hearing.
