slk amg 55 171 2005 reg replace the fuel filter, was told this is not a service item from main dealer, i think this is rubbish as i have been told its a 15 year replacement from other people, can anyone inform me if i need to change it the car has only done 35,000 from new with a full merc service history

 

ok i just found out its 10 years or 100.000 miles so local main dealer is wrong as i thought, have to order from another main dealer as no one selling this part but them for some reason

You should have received a Service Manual with the car which outlines all the intervals for various services. If you cannot get a paper one you should be able to find it on line.
