hey jikjak, you can get the heated steering wheel option in Canada, it is on the option list (although i think it's unneccessary), but for Parktronic i bet i'll be an option on the MY06 model. When is ur planned production date? Mine is so damn far away.....

This is a bit odd. There is no 'heated steering wheel' option availalbe for the SLK (200, 350 OR 55) as far as I know. There certainly is NOT in the EU (that includes Germany). Now, I have seen the Canada configurator, just saying, it's odd that it would 'only' be availalble in Canada ? Has someone talked to their sales rep and confirmed this ?

As for the Parktronic, the MY06 configuration (prelimenary) won't be available to MB internal until January 05 (much later for consumers). Any prediction if the parktronic, which is availalbe in the EU and other markets WILL make it to the US model is pure speculation at this point....

Cheers,
Dan

Hummm.....but on my option list it shows heated steering as an option with the code 443? Could it be a typo? I'll ask my sales on Friday. I have no clue when my production date is? When did you order the SLK? I've ordered it in Sept. 04. Seen ur M3 cab around.....love it......nice car !!!!

let me know what u find out! hehe
the code 443 is the correct one. but on my option list it says n/a for the slk55.

for the eurospec cars iirc, heated steering wheel is standard.
do u guys have the tire pressure monitoring system as well?
