My girlfriend doesn't want the SLK55...
My girlfriend doesn't want the SLK55 after she saw and sat on a SLK320. I'm thinking to sell my number 1 spot on ebay. Have anyone done it before? Please advice… Thx in advance!

slk 320 is better for her, slk 55 isn't recommended for her...

Anyhow, if you are in fact #1 at chicago downtown, selling your spot at ebay isn't going to fly because I don't think MB of Chicago will play such games. They assured me of this, and in fact, since I was at one point #2 behind you on their list for an SLK55, they promised me that if the #1 spot holder changes his/her mind, I would get first crack at it. I have since been refunded my deposit, so that doesn't matter. I'm #1 at some other dealer in the area. I would check with your dealer first before you put up such an ad on ebay. Many car dealers have a policy of making spots on wait-lists on highly desirable cars non-transferrable or even non-deferrable... meaning that you can't give/sell it to someone else and you can't skip you spot and move down to another. Makes sense because this would be unfair to other customers who also have $$ deposits down on cars and also patiently playing the waiting game, not to mention bad business. Then again, there are also some dealers in the area who are very shady when it comes to wait-lists on such cars. If you do end up not taking delivery of the SLK55 (assuming I have the right person), please let me know so that when your car does get in, I can grab a test-drive
