my father rpicked up an 06 slr today
silver arrow option crystal glaxite black with the red interior. My questions are:
Is it normal to have a lot of brake squeel?
Our carrera GT with the ceramic brakes doesnt squeel a bit so just wondering if its just the nature of the car?
also is there anyways to raise the front of the car when entering driveways etc??

can you post pictures of these cars?
And yes it is normal for the brakes to squell on the SLR, When I was in a friends SLR it was squelling like madd. The only temporary solution is travelling a somewhat fast speed and then hitting the brake, it should stop the squeel for a little while.

I have pics of the carrera Gt but not of
the SlR because my I left my camera at home.
Also a few more questions after another drive.
Does the car come with keyless go as standard?
How do you shut off the A/C? whenever we press the 0 button on the dash all it that happens in the red light blinks on and off. The AC remains on and we can only reduce the air but not shut it off completely. We also have an 04 sl55 and the buttons seem the same so i dont know why they shouldnt work the same

that house looks very familiar.
do you live in newport? on the water? that looks just like my friends old house, they sold it a while back. if it is, i keep my boat across the way.

ok looks like the car comes with the smartkey
which is just a normal MB key. it came with 2 keys but no credit card for the keyless go.
Is this a standard feature on all US cars?

well there are a lot more n
an sl55 745li and a x5. but there is also a 74 jag e type a 1956 jag le mans roadster and a 59 vette.
its a 22 car garage and until recently it was filled with classic cars of all eras but we sold them all and got the slr.
Less hassle and less maintenance!
