What is the price of the turbine wheels
anyone know the option price for these wheels? And whether or not they are available as a special order item from a dealer?

Oh i see. so the SLR does come standard with these wheels? I think in Europe its an option.

In Europe the 18 inch 5 spoke wheels come on the car. The 19 inch Turbine Wheels are an option.
All US models come with the Turbine wheels.
The Turbine wheels are functional on the SLR. The wheels were designed in a wind tunnel and become a fan at high speeds pulling air out from under the vehicle creating aerodynamic downforce, as the air passes through the brakes it beomes functional for brake cooling as well.
The front wheels are $5k Each
The rear wheels are $6k Each
All US models come with the Turbine wheels.
