SLR/C199/R199/Z199: 6.3 Litre SLR?

6.3 Litre SLR?
AMG should incorporate their new 6.3 Litre powerplant into the SLR. With some accurate tuning, they can match the current power levels. Or, a kompressor on the new engine could readily boost the car's already top notch performance. Stock, the car hits 60 in 3.7 and tops out at 208 mph. With a 6.3 Litre kompressor engine, interesting things will happen. Lets see what MBenz will do.

I think that Mercedes MUST release SLR AMG .. Corvette ZO6 have same acceleration of SLR by less than half price of it but it is less safer than slr ..
But most people look to the acceleration no the safty ..
so the SLR must have better performance

New 6.3 in an SLR? Not gonna happen. They already spent all of the time and money specially developing the current SLR motor; and they've just spent more time and money increasing its output by another 50hp or so. No reason to put a 6.3 or develop a 6.3 for the SLR. Now maybe in a couple of years IF they develop the 6.3 further or develop a whole new motor and if they are still producing the SLR...but I doubt it......
