SLR Factory Tour on TV
Tonight on the show Beyond Tomorrow there will be a segment about the SLR factory and how the SLR is produced. I have Comcast cable and this show will be on the Science Channel 272 at 8pm Central time. I'm looking forward to see it.

Did anybody watch this? It is worth tuning in for. It is the 3rd segment about 12 minutes in. 10 minute long segment. Awesome tour of the factory in England. Beyond Tomorrow will be rerun tonight and tomorrow on the Science Channel. Set your Tivos.

I searched everywhere last night for it.Our local cable ( Comcast - NJ ) didn't carry it.
I did however watch the speed channel covering the building of the new BMW.I think it was called " Birth of a sportscar" , that was cool.!

I saw it. I think the reporter found the factory, and the well-dressed factory workers, to be more impressive than the car and the car is very impressive! I especially liked seeing the LONG line of SLR McLarens in various stages of assembly. No robots in sight at the McLaren factory, unlike the Mercedes factory tour I saw in Sindelfingen, which had hundreds of robots. (Although, seeing all those robots at work was impressive.)
The McLaren factory is quite amazing! It looks more like a museum than a factory. It would be an awesome place to work.
