I can't believe they're making a convertible!!

This car has to be the biggest sellout ever for McLaren. It's heavy, an automatic and now it's a convertible too. Tossers... anyone who considers this car is a Supercar, is seriously homo.
Let the flaming begin

I've been thinking about this one; and had a conversation with someone this morning about it....
I am liking it. It will definately make for the car a more enjoyable experience on the road as a Grand Tourer. The folding hardtop's qualities make it far more usable and enjoyable than a softtop convertible.
The original concept car (or car pictured in the early press on it) was a convertible, if I remember correctly, and I remember being unhappily surprised when I realized that it was going to be a coupe and that having the car as a convertible was no longer an option....
So I am all for it: don't care what the performance loss may be, as the car is to be enjoyed as a grand tourer - and this will make it that much more enjoyable as one.
IMHO.
