I see a black 06 SLR with 60miles with a buy price of $389,000 on eBay. Do you have that much room to play?

I also see an 05 with a buy price of $349,000 with 2,000 miles. $100,000 seems like a big hit to take on a practically new car.

That is a very aggressive deal & I think we could get into that ballpark. Just remember that there are perks to the original owner SLR's that are not extended past that person. I think that is worth something to a client that is spending this amount of $$$$$$$.

Marcus, I feel your pain.....there are 60 on auto trader and u had to spend 300k on the lift mercedes forced u to buy! for this car and u were sold on the fact that there was supposed to be alot less produced. Gluck

Yes the SLR, a wonderful, but flawed Mercedes-Benz in all its glory. Stunning color combo, but I like that dark blue/brown combo that made the rounds at the auto shows this past season better than this. Does anyone have a brochure or site that lists all the exterior/interior colors for the SLR with swatches?

MB of Manhattan has one sitting in its West Side showroom which goes for MSRP. I talked to my dealer just to "feel" what kind of discount a potential buyer can get, not much, if you are paying $430k cash, it's yours. The car is silver with red interior.

It has been sitting there a lOng time. I sat in that car bout 4 months ago. I was taking my car in for service and my S.A let me sit in it. After all tha ttime, they should lower their price or it will never sell. Especially not when they go for 370 on ebay

They've had it in the service area instead of one of showroom floors for a while now. I would think they'd want it on the Park Ave. showroom since they get a lot of traffic over there. A salesman friend there said that they're willing to listen to any reasonable offers on it because its costing them a lot of money to sit in their inventory.

It's possible, some people may consider it if the deal is attractive enough. No one can ever be sure what advertising medium will bring the desired result.

Best of luck on selling the SLR. I just picked up a 2007 SLK, and I have seen an SLR on the dealer's showroom floor all year. BTW, it's silver and (I think) it looks nicer than the black SLR.
