Brabus SLR

Have any Brabus SLR's ever been purchased? It seems as if no one ever talks about them.

I could be very wrong here, but I seriously doubt that Brabus has anything available to improve these practically ultimate cars.

Brabus does have a tuning package for the SLR. It does provide some engine/suspension/exhaust mods and increases HP to 660. I expect that the Brabus package isn't necessarily for increasing performance, because as stated the SLR is practically perfect, but it does add custom interior packages (steering wheel, leather, suede, etc) and rims.

P.S. I found it odd, but they say that the Brabus exhaust is not certified for street use. why get it?

all ive been able to get out of brabus is the cf interior which broke on install and ive only been waiting 4 months for a replacement piece! also got the wheels but i had to custom widen both front and rear.as far as i kno its too much trouble to produce the rest, even if u can afford it.

Can you post a pic of the SLR with the brabus wheels?

Rears are 295/30-19
Fronts are 255/35-19
That's OEM

If it's 20x11.5, I'm bettin that's a 315mm tire.

Brabus tuning package for the SLR is 9.5 fr, 11.5 rr -- I'd bet the same thing, but I am not sure at all what rubber they are mounting. I would guess 305mm or 315mm....

I do know that the rears are 11.5, though.

I wish I was at home, I have all the Brabus papers on my desktop. It says what rubber they 'suggest' in their vendor pricing literature.

I don't have that handy - but I do remember the wheel sizes from when I looked at their tuning package for the SLR.

Might try a trip to Brabus' website, and downloading the 'pricelist' or whatever they call it for the SLR tuning opitions....

That gave me a hint, google.

BRABUS chose high-performance tires in sizes 255/30 ZR 20 and 305/25 ZR 20 as the optimal solution. The conversion to the BRABUS 20-inch tire/wheel combination gives the Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren even more dynamic handling prowess.

That said, I do prefer the stock rims on the SLR. The Brabus ones are too 'vanilla' for such a car, imo

Nice car lineup a perfect winter summer combo with the rr sport sc and SLR, and when you just want to cruise in the summer the flyin spur. You have a killer line up and your neighbor has a caravan, sorta funny. Anyways, do you have any other mods from brabus besides the rims...which look GREAT

Also wondering where you live, those houses look magnificent however sorta a weird set up. The garages right up front, then a huge window, and then deep, must be an exclusive city housing development, I know out by my in the suburbs we have a lot of room to build deep and wide....If I had your cars I would put up a security camera too

Got to be Vancouver-thats a Canadian sub division if there ever was one (upscale, but the layout has Canada written all over it)- looks like on a mountain side, thats my guess...
On of my favourite cities, my sibs both live out there.

That is probably the best looking SLR I've ever seen. What color is that?
