When do you think SLR will be sub- 100K ?

I see that the dropping a massive 100K from 2005 to 2006 , so will 2007, 2008, 2009 ,....they will be reasonable to buy ?

Never.

But, if for some reason it did... consider the cost of even routine maintenance.

Go the other route, make enough where it becomes affordable for YOU.

It will be sub100K when it is crushed into the size of a large box. Otherwise it will not happen.

I agree. And even then, the box will likely cost close to 100k.

It is unlikely to dip that low, unless is in a severely beat-up or damaged condition. by they time we would think they have finally depreciated enough, they would start to achieve collector item status, as by then production will have ceased, and their prices will creep back up.

When they get to $100K, very few people will want one except for parts.

There will be other, better alternative vehicles out there and the repair costs on the SLR will be unreasonably high.

Can you pick up an SLR in the 280-300k range?

Doubt it will ever hit the 100k price range.

I would say around 250kish would stop decreasing.

I dont think it will appreciate unless it becomes like the gull wing.

It is a nice piece of art though the SLR. Its beautiful.

My friend just bought one I havent gotten the chance to take pics of it.

Unfortunately I think a $100,000 SLR will correspond to 32 degrees F in hell.
I think you can rent one in Miami, $3k a day. Bring the deed to your house for deposit.

Considering Ferrari F355 still valued around 70-80k, I don't see SLR dropping to 100k anytime soon.. actually I doubt it will..
