Vision SLR versions

Just curious if the Vision SLR will have several models of it's own? Like on the E-class they have E320, E430 and E55AMG etc..

what about the SLR??

I've wondered the same thing too.

Maybe too much.

It would make sense to fall in with the Mercedes nomenclature...SLR550 or SLR600 or whatever the hell it is.

But maybe at the same time that also makes it sound too plebian? I mean...to tell people your car is "the Mercedes SLR outside." would be really cool. It could work with or without numbers.

I read something the other day about a twin-supercharger. Heck, that car is so beatiful, I'd settle witha 230K in it. (Of course I'd convert it later after my walet recovers from the cost to purchase).

My father-in-law has had an enormous deposit on this car for over 2 years now... he's not even sure what he's getting. He's sick of waiting so he's getting a CL55 to carry him over until it arrives... all I know is that if he gets the car any time soon, I'll have to hurry up and start my Koenig twin turbo 360 Modena F-1 project because I can't have my father-in-law driving a faster car than me.

Automobile magazine mentioned that they might offer a V-10 with a whole lot of F1 technology in the engine, but this was a while back. I haven't heard anything since.
