Looking at a few SLR for sale, help
So I am currently looking at a few SLR for sale out west, What should I be looking out for, are there any issues or problems that I should look into.

They made few of them. There are very few people who can work on them. They are a complex car. However, I would call your local dealer and maybe they can get you in touch with a SLR tech who can explain more.
1997 F50? I would love to hear the long story behind that since there are under 350 made.

Actually, SLR is much easier and simpler to work on then the CGT, I had both and SLR was much, much better in that regard, both in complexity, servicing and expense.
I wish I had kept the CGT though, worst decision I ever made when I sold it.
Btw, a very good idea the OP has regarding buying one, they are severely under priced on the market now.

Not as complex and difficult as other cars in that bracket.
Actually, SLR is much easier and simpler to work on then the CGT, I had both and SLR was much, much better in that regard, both in complexity, servicing and expense.
I wish I had kept the CGT though, worst decision I ever made when I sold it.

Went down SLR McLaren Edition route with Renntech upgrading motor to ~700hp~700tq before sending back to MSO for transformation.
Rarely see 1 of the 25 editions up for sale. This car appears to be 13 of 25. Might interest you:
