I've only seen the SLR in silver. Black/red definitely looks more aggressive.

So i was driving to visit my gf at CAl....on 580...i was driving this stupid rental cuz my hybrid was in the shop getting its 30k oil change..my rental was a chevy I6 ....not a big fan of trucks but wahtever anways im driving on 580...then i look in my rearview mirror.....i seee this BLACK spec with really bright lights comming up REALLY REALLY REALLY FAST....at the time i saw it was about 1/4 away...about 3-4 secs later i just h ear this HUGE ROAR!! go right by me and moves my car like a baby crib....it was at leat going over 180+mph since i usually drive my benz at 150ish and it seem like that SLR was flying im sure that driver was testing that cars limits drooolll i wish i was in the passanger seat !

SLR is amazing car. Even though everybody will buy Carrera GT over the SLR. I love it in black color. Congrats to your uncle. He is lucky! And you as well, because you saw it! Here in Prague we have only one SLR, only two Carrera GT and only ONE ENZO in hole Czech Republic! So when you see something like this here in Czech Republic - you are lucky!

I don't even understand why people bother buying this car silver so it almost looks like any other Mercedes when they can buy it in Black and look this good!!

Magnificent car!!! Incredible...flawless...(other than the automatic tranny...)
