SLS Steering Vibration 120km/h +-
Hi,
Just would like to know wether some of us may have experienced this as well, I know roads are bumpy and I can totally feel it.
However just on highways when I am travelling above 120km/h, I felt there is a vibration in the steering, more like going up and down...
Would appreciate some to share their experience about this.

It sounds like it could be a tire or wheel issue. I had a vibration in the front and didn't know what it was, as soon as I put it on my lift I noticed the left front tire had worn it's inside shoulder pretty bad, have a good look for that and also see if you are missing any wheel weights for balance.

gonna take a hunch and say your wheels bent. I have after markets and the stocks i got when i bought my car i thought weregonna be better they were bent so bad at 80 they shook the whole car

did balancing but another full and constant test has not been done,
but a little I suppose,
another possibilities is the kw springs I installed back then..

Mine had a vibration that only cropped up above 70mph. Tech said sometimes they don't catch it if it happens at higher speeds.

there were a slight balance,
did not get to try full run on highway,
but did 120-130 and felt no shaking like it used to before, however not sure because road are bumpy..
