SLS AMG - will x-pipe sound better than straight pipe

Hello

I'm french i sorry for my bad english. I'm owner of a sls amg , It has fitted with a CAPRISTO exhaust. (full inox straight pipe and muffler ), Maybe i used to head It too often but now i think that my exhaust Is not loud enough . I want to modify more , i'm thinking about fit on a catless downpipe or a X-pipe (or H-pipe if It sound better) instead of the capristo straight pipe . Someone can tell me something about that wich sound better between straight pipe , X-pipe and H-pipe .

If you want it louder you'll need headers. No such thing as down pipes

H-Pipe is usually associated with a more classic muscle tone but X-pipe is usually louder. The stock exhaust has H-pipe, which I kept, but I removed the resonators.

Ditto, if you want much more sound headers will do it. Personally, I think it's way too loud, but everyone is different.

I've always longing for straight catless headers, however always worried about the lose of back pressure as I have quicksilver exhaust with no catback in the rear.

yeah I had a friend who go all catless and supersprint's x pipe but retaining the OEM catback and join them with the supersprint midpipe.. oh boy it sounds bombastic..

however right now the only thing that stopped me from going supersprint catless or renntech (i wish i had these)..
is the CEL.. im not ready for a tune yet.
