New Release: aFe Magnum Flow replacement filters for 11-15 Mercedes Benz SLS AMG
aFe POWER is excited to be a part of the MB World community. We begin with releasing our new Magnum Flow OER filters for the powerful Mercedes Benz SLS AMG. Even the best of supercars could benefit from more airflow, and our drop-in replacement filters outflow the factory paper versions by 13%. We offer the choice of either our high flowing Pro 5R oiled filters, or our oil free Pro Dry S filters for maximum convenience.
Quick data points:
• Our aFe POWER High Performance filters utilize rounded and evenly spaced out pleats, to increase air flow and increase dust holding capacity.
• 13% increased air flow over the factory paper filters.
• 100% polyurethane construction maintains long durability.
• Our Pro Dry S filters have 3 layers of progressive synthetic filter media without needing to oil the filters.
• Our Pro 5R filter have 5 layers of Factory-oiled filter media to maximum airflow, while maintaining great protection.
Our Magnum Flow OER filters are constructed out of 100% polyurethane, for long durability and multiple cleaning cycles. The soft yet strong urethane always goes back to its original shape and form, creating a strong seal every time.
What makes our filters stand out from the rest? Aside from the Synthetic oil free filter media option, and 100% polyurethane construction, is the size and number of evenly spaced pleats. 25mm Deep is to be exact, this increases surface area so air flow and dirt holding capacity is enhanced.

I have the Afe filters in my 2011 sls, fit and design fits perfect. Never can go wrong with some additional air flow to the monster AMG engine!!

2012 SLS AMG
I was one of the guys that had a problem with fitment in the past. Bought some filters that were said to fit the '13-'15 SLS and they DID NOT FIT my '12. Sent them back. I will be trying these and reporting back. Thanks

Any dyno results (ala K&N) or hows does the computer deal with the extra airflow? AMG enginenerded these cars to work with the stock filter. Any change to that would lead to issues I would think.

We do not dyno test our OER filters as they are considered a replacement filter. The other benefit from receiving extra flow is you don't toss away these filters when they get dirty

Pro Dry S is an oil-free dry synthetic media which still provides great airflow, with some additional filtration.

Some have a preference of oiled for maximum flow, others only want to run dry filters, you have a choice of either. Both are cleanable and reusable.

Sorry for the delay. Got mine in a few days ago but with Christmas and all didn't get to install them till last night. They fit great. Same size as the OEM but of much better quality. Have not driven as of yet. Will take out over the weekend to see if there is any change in sound or 'butt dyno'. Would suspect not, but you never know
