SLS AMG Oil Sensor Problem/ Alternator

Hello,

I have had an issue on my 2011 SLS AMG for a while with the oil sensor not reading due to a bad garage that I went. Eventually I had to change the ECU, oil sensor, and replace wire harness to resolve the issue, and still the issue was still not resolved. When I took to a special technician, the diagnosis was showing two faults, 1 was on the B40 oil sensor + LIN communication error and the 2nd was a fault on the alternator. I tested removing the LIN cable fro the alternator, and finally I got an oil sensor temperature reading. So basically, it was the alternator's fault. What was happening with the alternator is that the Xentry DAS shows that the AMPs on idle should be 15AMPS or less on idel, while my vehicle was going upto 24 AMPS! And that's the reason why the LIN communication was being shut off from the ECU and oil sensor can't read.

After I have found the main problem, which is to replace the Alternator and its part no. is 000-906-07-06-80, unfortunately it is on back order with no ETA from all dealers in the USA and Germany.
Does anyone know a supplier with a new alternator for 2011 SLS AMG? If not, would replacing only the voltage regulator on the alternator help which is this part no. 004-154-20-96
