There were over 10000 copies of that book sent with every 2010-2013 SLS worldwide however I think it was discontinued by 2014 because the original 2014 SLS Black Series buyers such as myself did not receive it.
haa - I think you are correct about the discontinuation. I’ve talked to several original owners from 2011 to 2015. It’s very random that you find an original owner that received the book. I have not found a 2013-2015 owner that received a book at time of purchase.
Some of the 2nd edition presentation books carried a publication date of 2013. My own SLS roadster is a 2012 model , built in 2011, with a book published in 2011.

Does anybody know what this is exectly (Yes, its a book)? I know its a first edition from 2010. And does anybody know its value? I saw some prices here but i am not sure about this one.
The book itself almost never left its case.

This is the 1st edition SLS book as delivered with the 2010-11 SLS GW. It received several awards in Germany. The red case is different than the grey case delivered with US delivery cars. Apparently there is no factory letter. Perhaps this was delivered with an SLS delivered new in Canada. One US delivery book with grey case & factory letter sold recently on eBay for $2150-. Another book was offered on eBay for $999- or best offer. An offer was accepted by the seller, within a few hours. The exact selling price is thus unknown. The book is obviously quite valuable. Exact value would be determined by what a buyer is willing to pay. I recently returned from the annual Gull Wing Group convention. There were many 300SL GW's & Roadsters there. There were 3 SLS's, in attendance. Only 1 owner had the book. A number of SLS owners brought their 300SL's rather than their SLS to the event. None of those apparently owned the book delivered with their SLS. All appeared to want one, I do not know the price point for each individual potential buyer.
Following a careful review of my collection, I do have a spare copy of the 1st edition SLS Book as pictured above in as new condition. It does not have a case. If an SLS owner needs one, I will make it available. I can be reached via email at: fasmd@yahoo.com

This 1st book was published in 2010 with black SLS GW on cover. The revised edition with GW, RO, GT3 race car, & electric SLS on cover I believe was delivered with SLS GW & RO in late 2011 when SLS RO became available in the USA.
An SLS owner who is also a member of the GWG has offered his collection of 6-7 of these books on the GWG chat line. He will sell them only as a package deal.

The 2 versions of the SLS Book are each spectacular. I retain the one which came with my 2012 SLS RO, and my spares are long gone! If you need one to complete your SLS package, these have become very hard to find.
Good morning all. Great to be here and part of this community. Bought a 2011 SLS coupe 3 years ago and now looking for a book to go with it. Anyone looking to sell theirs or where I can find one?
FYI I got a car cover, trickle charger and window sticker from Paul Devers, in case anyone is looking for those items to add to their SLS. Paul owns an MB dealership in Ohio.
