Different numbers for engine displacement?!?
My car came with some promotional materials from the model year:
the brochure says the car is 6.2 L:
even though the sticker, car badging, and the photos of the badging in the brochure, say it’s 6.3 L:
Simple typo?

.1 L on a 6.3 L engine is simply a rounding error lol!

Your SLS actually has a 6.2L, the number "6.3" is a tribute to the original 1968 Mercedes-Benz 300 SEL's 6.3L engine. This is also true for the W204 C63, where it badges the sides with 6.3 even though the car actually has a 6.2L, it is called a C63 for that same reason but now that number has no meaning other than indicating it is the top of the line C-Class (as the W205 C63/S has a 4.0L V8). So it is basically heritage.
