Tapatalk on MBWorld
Dear admins, mods and fellow MBWorld users,
I am writing this to try to gain support to possibly add Tapatalk to this forum many of us call home. Those of you who already have Tapatalk know the advantages. I'm not trying to sell copies of Tapatalk and for any of you that are fine with the mobile theme, that's great.
I am hoping it could be reconsidered to be added/implemented (alongside the new mobile theme).

Modernizing MBWorld image & branding with Taptalk
Dear MBWord administrator,
It's a shame that this excellent forum does not operate on Taptalk. Many if not most of us are mobile are not tethered to a desktop computer. Subscribing to Tapatalk would increase your site traffic.
Many of the other forums such as MMBA.org are accessible via Taptalk.

I don't speak for everyone else but I'd be willing to throw a couple bucks over to buy an admin or two a copy of tapatalk to use for R&D/implementation.
Many, if not all the forums I frequent are on Tapatalk and this is the last piece of the puzzle..

It is worth mentioning that Tapatalk is available for many of those mobile and tablet platforms (iOS/android/blackberry) and I believe they also have something for Chrome for desktop users..

Thank you! I don't speak for IB but assume the scale of their network has something to do with the policy to not install tapatalk. When a site owner has one or two communities, the decision to install a plugin might be easier. Installing a server side app on 100 plus communities that passes content to a third party is different. Should Internet Brand's policy change I'll be the first to announce it!

Bob..
EDIT::
add to that CamaroZ28.com..
I'm not gonna waste anymore time looking these up but why are some IB forums allowed to use it and some not?

I was curious so I went to the IB site (I actually didn't know they owned MBWorld, thought it was privately owned all this time). Anyway, I found s2ki.com which is an IB site that supports tapatalk?? That was about 5 minutes of work, I'm sure there may be more IB sites that are "allowed" to use it.. Why not us?
Hi!
Because Tapatalk was installed when they purchased the community. Thanks.

thought i'd give this thread a little bump. tapatalk plugin takes literally 2 minutes to install, i did it over the weekend on another forum. you basically upload a folder to the root forum folder and add 1 line to your template.. It is free from an admin standpoint and also there is a way for it to generate money via VigLink and I think IB may be interested in that (although i'm not 100% how it works yet).
the fact that they allow some of their sites to continue using tapatalk, i cannot see any reason why they would not let us do it.. please look into this!

Hi,
As I understand it, IB has both an android and ios mobile app in the works. They are being tested on smaller communities right now and hopefully we will see them in the next few months. I believe the apps will be free. Thanks.
