Vendor Spamming
Last night, I counted *9* postings from ONE vendor on the front page of the C63 W204 forum. Vivid. They have been a problem on many other forums for their sheer ability to spam like crazy.
This morning, there were *23* advertisement topics/postings on the front page. 23!!!!!!!!!!!! And this is a very active forum, but real content is being pushed to the 2nd and 3rd pages by the neverending spam.
These ads are annoying, in big bold caps, with frankly ridiculous descriptions. Is it really necessary for one vendor to have *9* threads on the front page of ANY forum? This is getting out of hand IMHO - they're all 'bumps' for their spammy posts that nobody cares about.
Can there be some sort of limit on these idiotic spammy advertisements? It's really starting to impact enjoyment of this place.
Can there be a SIDE AREA on the same page but not actually within the forum, where the vendors can post away to their heart's content? Because their posts have ZERO HELPFUL CONTENT.

More vendor spam today. One vendor just *bumped* 10 of their posts to the front page. Is it necessary for vendors to *bump* their posts constantly. Some of these posts consist only of *bumps*, probably because nobody cares about their products.

Anyone have any feedback? It's not just me. We understand that vendors support this site, but many such as Weistec, Eurocharged, and MBH among others, actually post very helpful content along with their subtle ads which are never bumped. It's not a surprise which is the more successful strategy, as these vendors tend to be the most highly thought of and used by the community.
