Open letter to the moderators
The C63 forum has deteriorated in quality. It's now nothing but vendor ads and guys posting FS threads. If this continues, I imagine a lot of us would leave, depriving mbworld of many good people. Vendors would also lose if that happens.
A forum is more useful if it has good DIY discussions and folks exchanging unbiased views about the cars they own and love. It has to be pretty simple to create a sub-forum for vendors instead of letting them clog up the main discussion area.
I hope you guys look into this and act appropriately.
This is a free forum, what do you expect? If I was paying to use MBworld I can see why it would be annoying, but someone has to keep it funded and running. Vendors pay to post and that money goes to keeping this going. Mods scare them away and eventually the forum dies all together.
Just let it go man, sift through it. It's really not that bad and sometimes vendors post some really cool things or really good deals.

i think that's why it seems like there's more vendor posts than usual. maybe?

They are so many interesting posts in here already. You just have to use the search button. In my 2years+ usage of this site the only change i noticed is the turnover of members being more frequent.
I really think it is just slow lately, it's still cold in most parts of the country, and I know that if I didn't live in Cali (yeah, it was 75 here all day today, take that) that I would have my car put away and not really be posting too often. I think it will pick back up soon in spring. Most tracks everywhere else are still closed, not many are doing any modding, it is just a slow season.
On a more "on-topic" note, Bimmerpost is quite a large site and requires all vendors to post advertisements, etc. in designated sub-forums.
Not trying to advocate or plug another site. But it can be done.
Personally, I have no problem with how this site operates. If they asked my opinion, I'd give it, but I don't help pay the bills here so I doubt they want it haha.
I bought my mods and comeback maybe once a month instead of once an hour.
Guy who started the post is 100% correct. The vendors just screwed themselves. Now I will buy less mods because of them jamming their adds in to these forums and not vendor specific forums.

Really? You aren't going to buy parts because vendors flood this site? Are you a child because that's just about the dumbest thing I've heard all day. I must admit, this is my first stop on the forum today though.
Which brings me to my next point. 75-90% are ads? Go look, I'll wait. tick tock, tick tock, tick tock. Oh wow, just over 20% are. Some are going to say "holy crap 20% of the threads are ads?" but then the rest of us are going to be like "huh, definitely not 90%" or "seriously, people still ***** about this kind of stuff?"
You guys crack me up. Threatening to leave and say you won't come here anymore unless the mods clean things up. Newsflash, you aren't what keeps the forum running. So go ahead, leave, pout away while MBworld just keeps on truckin on.
