Recent change to forum

Last edited by midesaka; Oct 25, 2017 at 10:03 PM. Reason: related threads, not similar
I wonder who comes up with and implements these 'features' without actually testing/asking anybody. I can't see anyone actually using this and liking it.

The infinite scroll for the top and bottom header CAN be beneficial, if you have a large enough screen and you're up to using it. My laptop doesn't allow me to do so, and in general my preference is to have the most space to be able to read stuff (infinite scroll takes up way too much space).
Now that I figured out how to go to classic mode, it's pushing me directly to the end of the thread and the quick reply box. Umm...I haven't even read the thread yet?
I know you guys want to push the envelope for "more" and "better" because that's your jobs, but these two implementations are not good ideas.
My complaint about this forum? Is that there aren't more posts and users in the sections I frequent. But that may be my choice of car
As far as I know there is a change coming that will remove the 'related thread pop up' for logged in users as it is confusing. I'm also going to ask the 'New Quick Reply popup' be removed or reduced in size. The reply button is in the bottom header of each thread. I'll try to get more info on the schedule today. Thank you.

The 'Quick Reply' popup is a bug that should be fixed at the end of the day. Also, we are expecting a update tomorrow or Monday that will allow users to opt out of 'Related Thread Suggestions' by logged in members.

MBWorld has been updated to the latest version of vB to fix the pop up editor. The quick reply pop up has been removed and quick reply is now at the end of a thread. This update adds the ability to turn off related threads.
The link to disable related threads is under your User Control Panel > edit options > thread display options.

If you find any problems please post in this thread. Thank you.
