advertisement overload
I do like this format for questions and responses from members who own and drive their cars.. I mostly look at the AMG GT forum... This morning, out of the first 14 post, 11 are from Manufactures looking to entice you to look at their current ad offerings... only 3 posts were from members seeking advice or responding to other members prior questions.. The manufacture's constant, daily post are like spam ! There are so many of them, I simply don't pay attention.. there should be an area for them to post and for members to view or have a member to suggest looking at a vendor's ad when seeking advice regarding wheels, downpipes, exhaust, etc... On the Ferrari FCHAT there are numerous sub posts with questions from members and not one ad pops up in the content area... the same with Rennlist on the Porsche site... I look at this site for member input, not ads...

Please note that there are no restrictions on where a vendor may post a ad concerning forums. It has been that way since the forum was founded in 2001. What we do limit is the number of active threads in a forum and excessive bumps over a short period of time. We will remove an ad placed in the middle of a technical discussion.
