Tire(d of) Survey...

Just wondering how many times I'll have to answer Yokahama's relentless and tire-some survey before I no longer have to in order to get to my target forum. Does anyone know the answer to this? I've already told them I'm not interested in their tires, but the survey still pops up every time I log in, and I have to react to it in order to get where I'm going...kind of like the start/stop eco function in our cars.

It sounds like you're logging out? Also, are you clearing browser cookies?

If so, that is likely the reason. Cookies are often used to track what has, hasn't, been done, site preferences and log-in information. If I visit YouTube, for example, with no previous cookies I'll get a "You're signed out" prompt, "how is You Tube today" survey, and a prompt to try their subscription service. Meaning, this is somewhat normal and cookies are involved. So if you're logging out and clearing cookies, you might get the same repeated prompts.

This is a good point that I hadn't thought of. I do have my browser set to clear all cookies when I close it out. I'm not going to change that setting, so I guess I'll just have to put up with the survey prompt. Thanks for the insight!
