Lightbulb Increase Attachment Size

I'd think this would have been requested before, but a cursory search didn't reveal anything recent.

When uploading large files, like PDF order guides, they often have to be hosted off-site because they are usually around 10 MB, which exceeds the forum's limit.
I would like to suggest an increase to the attachment size, at least for PDFs. I think 20 MB would be a good new limit.

Hi,

The attachment size limit will be raised to 20 MB by the techs. Thank you for the suggestion.

Hi,

I was just told (honestly) the limit on all types of files is 20MB. Please give it a test drive, thanks.

No, the attachment limit is still set to 20MB. I confirmed the setting and was also able to upload a pdf just under 20MB.

It's possible if the member doesn't have enough upload speed that it may time out. There's not much we can do about that but without further details, it's unable to know what issue one member had.
