All I can say is you have some bad info you are looking at. I am looking at the actual caliper and I was able to get the pistons out enough to get get measurements with precision measuring calipers. They are 1.045" and 1.124" which translates to 26.5 and 28.5
Since I already have brand new SLK55 rear rotors I am getting tempted to keep them. The only issue is that I will need to upgrade the fronts (again) to 345. I had planned on doing this but got ripped from a guy on Ebay who listed CLK500 calipers that turned out to be C230 Sport (I think) As soon as I can positively identify those calipers I will sell them and recoup my losss. I have new C32 rotors for the front but still looking for the right calipers. I am currently running CL500 calipers on 330mm SLK32/SRT6 rotors.

The c230 sport caliper use a 330mm rotor that is a little thinner than the slk32 srt6 rotor, they are 2 piston brembos. The c320sport /SLK use a 330mm rotor with a 4 piston brembo. I have the part numbers at my house if you want me to send you them to identify what you have.

I guess go ahead and keep them man, get some brackets made and it should look pretty hot. I guess I'm going to keep my rear CL55 setup as well and try to get that working within the next few weeks....

Lantana man my only issue as I stated way earlier is that the diameter outside of the dust boot doesn't necessarily mean it's the same diameter on the inside where the bore is...

Long story short... if the picture is any indication, the pistons were not pushed out far enough to measure the barrel. Those numbers you got correspond to the top portions (above the dust boot recess) of 30 and 32mm pistons, respectively. Grab a magnifying glass and read the boot numbers; I'm fairly confident you'll find they end in 41/42.

The information is sound, your measurements are incorrect as Brembo doesn't fit half sizes or odd numbered sized pistons in their OEM calipers... in other words, a 26mm piston would not measure .5mm larger than it's supposed size when checked with a precise measuring tool such as a Vernier caliper or micrometer; and it obviously can't be the next size up because Brembo doesn't make odd numbered, i.e., 27/29/31mm pistons.
