2003 sl500 stuck in park

2003 sl500 stuck in park
My sl500 is stuck in "P" and I'm planning to have it towed somewhere to be repaired. My question is, how can it be put on a flatbed, if it can't be put into the "Neutral" gear in order for it to be rolled onto the truck?

did you spill anything down onto the shifter?
Look in your owners manual if you have the 722.6 5 speed there is a slot that you can take a pen and stick it down into the shifter and it will allow it to be moved into neutral for towing.
