Hey guys,
Just wanted to let you guys know about my experience with Modern Mercedes Repair Specialists because I think it'll be helpful for everyone in the DFW area.

So, MMRS is about a 30 minute drive from where I live, so a bit of a trek. That said, in addition to a LOT of maintenance work (Transmission service, Rear differential service, Engine oil and filter service, Wipers / Cabin filters), I was looking to get my cattless DP's installed and obviously my dealership wouldn't do that. So I contacted MMRS and got a very quick response to my e-mail from Remington. He sent me a quote for everything I needed (great prices, btw... much more reasonable than the dealership and a very reasonable estimate for the DP install) and gave me some of his own recommendations... he even offered me performance air filters if that was something I was interested in.

I dropped the car off on a Wednesday evening before close and they had all the maintenance done as well as the cattless DP's installed (I had them drop the transmission to get my OEM DP's out in one piece) done and the car buttoned up by Saturday morning! The car runs great and most importantly to me, they did the DP install RIGHT with proper bolts which they had to obtain from Mercedes as the cattless DP's didn't come with any.

As a bonus, they have some really beautiful cars in the shop.

Thanks again to Remington for all his advice, updates throughout the process, and quality work. If you guys are looking for a place to get your performance parts installed or even routine maintenance, I'd highly recommend these guys... I had a great experience and I'll be back for more later.

Thanks for the info. Mine is at the dealer for the 1st time right now getting some FREE stuff done, but I ain't paying excessive fees to change my oil, differential, etc. I have a LIFT in my garage anyway.

I've been using them as well. Remington and Justin are great guys and do excellent work!

Same here, take my G Wagon and S560 there all the time. Justin lifted my G550 for me, so they can do all the maintenance work needed and then some. Awesome service.

Had a ton of stuff there so far since they’ve opened. Remington was was the only tech at MB Plano I’d let touch my car and he left to start Modern Mercedes along with Justin, I was sold. Pretty great having 2 AMG trainer tech’s under the same roof. Remington has done a bunch of maintenance on my C63 S Edition 1 sedan so far, as well as Porterfeld aftermarket brake pads and we just did the
’19+ MY facelift blacked out Panamericana grille and it looks sickkk. I can’t recommend these guys enough. They get you in quick, they get you out quick, they do the absolute best work and if you needed any other reason to go see them, they are ALWAYS cheaper than the dealer using the same parts. Don’t let your stealership rip you off on maintenance or service, go see these guys!
