OK, for sh*ts and giggles, I'm in. Though I'm a serious doubting Thomas about the improvements, it doesn't seem to be that much money to throw away just to say I told you so. And if it actually works, I guess that's ok, too.

A GB price for ten people would be even better, though. BTW - 2002 C230 manual. (slightly modded)

Update

the final price was 260, but there was a confusion of one shipping location instead of being individually shipped. so the price jumped by 15 to around 275 and some change because of shipping. i realize that this isn't a better deal than slkfans.com, but they do have alot in stock. i tried. if anyone wants to order, just email Chet (check the first post in this thread) and let him know you're from MBworld.com

Has anyone gotten there spring booster yet?
I'm curious how it would feel in my car.
But with Pulley and headers, my throttle is pretty responsive.

A couple of people from this group buy got them. Perhaps they can chime in but I have heard good things so far. I backed out of the original group buy but I might be back in since I am having a hard time getting in touch with SLKFANS. If you guys want to get these again I suggest maybe going the same route as the first group. Contact the vendor and ask for a group discount. Let me know how it goes as I may be in.

sprint booster - me too

[QUOTE=midnight kompre;2052496]I have been sending emails back and forth to CKS Performance the past few days and was able to work out a deal with them. Its actually not much of a deal compared to what slkfans.com was offering, but they have sprint booster's in stock for both manual and automatic.

Just found out about the group buy. Do I now need to contact Chet directly?

I emailed Chet and got the same deal by referencing the forum's group buy.

yeah... a heard good things from people who have gotten them from chet. i had to cancel because of some expenses... but i will probably go ahead and get one through them b/c they are so responsive.

the deal isn't really better than slkfans... it comes to 10-15 dollars more because of shipping.

but they are responsive, reliable, and have it in stock... so thats what matters.

honestly... i prefer to support a forum member, but i guess he has probably had too much demand for this for him to follow through with everyone. i dont blame him.

yes but to no avail with Royal Mail. I don't doubt he shipped it but
I haven't received it and it's now been 17 days. I emailed him to see what remedies are available for lost shipments. I hope he shipped it with some sort of insurance and did not leave me totally at risk. I'll keep you posted. Until I either receive it or get my money back, I need to raise the yellow caution flag on this vendor.

Newsflash: Sprintbooster finally arrived yesterday, so all is good. Must have been the delay at Customs when they see a small device with wires in their x-ray.

Package finally arrived after 20 days. Must have been held up by Customs. Going to install over the weekend.
