I have been sending emails back and forth to CKS Performance the past few days and was able to work out a deal with them. Its actually not much of a deal compared to what slkfans.com was offering, but they have sprint booster's in stock for both manual and automatic.

their original pricing for one was £179.00 plus £22.00 shipping. once converted to USD, the price comes to $391.57 which was insanely expensive.

i posed the possibility of a group buy of at least 5 people and they dropped the price to £135.00 ($262.99) which includes shipping. (i realize this isn't that much of a discount compared to slkfans.com, but they do have it instock and are very responsive)

I just need 5 people who are interested... anyone with me?

it is basically device that modifies the signal sent from your throttle to the ECU that makes the throttle response much better. to my understanding, it opens up your throttle more quickly with smaller deflections in your pedal. there are no power gains, but it just makes it more fun to drive and can possibly increase your 0-60 from what i've read.

the price isn't better than what others have offered, but to my understanding... its hard to find this product.

if we get 10 people then i will ask Chet if he can cut us a better deal... but i would like to wait until we have at least 5 people first.

i heard that some people put the manual sprint booster in their automatics because it is more aggressive (but then again, some say its too agressive). if you still want me to put you down for automatic, let me know...

 

i'd love my car to be "more aggressive" whens the group buy deadline? i have to get some parts tomorrow for my car so depending on how much I have left over, I may be "in".

Nope. Please don't do that. There's a whole reason it was moved here in the first place. If anything, make a post in the Sprint booster thread that already exists and let people find out.
