Just ordered a set of D2S 6000k bulbs and an H7 6000k HID kit.
edit: i read some posts on here saying that h7 kit may not be plug and play because the bulb holder is different, is this true?
2nd edit: ive also been told that the stock xenons on my 07 clk550 are D1S and not D2S, anyone know for sure?

Yeah unfortunately I have already received the D2S bulbs, did you order the D1S bulbs from HIDExtra? They were a bit pricey, but I still had to order them because my low beams don't match my LED city lights and 6000k fogs.

Yes I bought them from HIDExtra. If you look at the bottom right pic in my sig you will see what the 6000k look like. The camera makes it look more blueish but they match my city lights perfect.

at the end of the bulb where the wires meet the bulb is rounder then the stock ones, so the metel clip wont fit so the hid bulb wont lock in.
what should i do or do you have a diffrent clips for sale??

OHTERWISE if u want something more whiteer and crisp white compared to OEM BiX, get 6000K you wont regret it!
6000K is just PURE WHITE and very little blue, but at night its just WHITE!

Hi,
4300K is a patented Kelvin number and for aftermarket companies, 5000K is the the closest to that color, most people go for the 6000K because it's pure white color and light up the signs and road divider much better
