Hi 10C300SPORT4M,
Sorry to hear about the negative experience you had. Please PM me your order details and I can see what we can do to expedite your exchange request. It's true that we are having a backorder problem, but products are on their way to best fulfill everyone's order. (In fact, a container coming in 30 minutes!) I still have to wait for our warehouse to complete receiving before confirming whether or not we can send you the replacement. But for sure we don't want to leave anyone hanging. Let me know.

Same thing here, I finally got an email from support asking for my car information, which I sent few days ago. also they asked me to check the connections which I have done already.

Since then no email or reply yet, it feels like pulling teeth to get any reply back, I really don't know what to do next, should I give up, put my old lights back and forget about it????

Hi superman7, we sent you an email last Thursday to determine the cause. Let us know what you find out so we can send out the correct part to you. Thanks.

I too, have received faulty parts from HID Extra from the get-go. I have gotten the run-around for about 3 weeks, sent their "RMA" department a e-mail about a week ago, and and now getting the silent treatment.

I have been displeased with their service on the following levels:
1) One of my fogs lights were defective upon arrival
2) The ballast that was accompanied with that fog light seemed to work whenever it wanted it. This is going to be a pain if I ever do get my replacement bulb in because I have a feeling I am going to have to replace that as well. Now that it is getting near the 60 day warrantee time, I beleive they are trying to stall to avoid other replacement of parts
3) Both of my headlights work when they want to. Often times when leaving a area at night none or only one decided to come on, and I have to sit there for 5 minutes and play with it until it does. It's ridiculous.
4) On my W211 E55, you have to remove the entire front bumper assembly to get to the headlight, which I am going to have to pay to have somebody do again because of the cheap quality of parts HID Extra provides.

At this point I have been forced to assume I am not going to get my replacements in. And to be honest I really don't care. I should have gone with another company from the start. Now that I'm going to be out close to $400.00 I am going to recommend that all of you stay away from HID Extra. To make things worse, they run their business out of the same city I live in. Ridiculous. Careless Return department, Horribly cheap parts, and their pricing is barely competitive. I am a forum moderator on ClubLexus.com as well, and will most certainly be making all of those members aware of my experience.

Spend an extra 20 bucks people, HID extra is not worth it.

My Ride
Wow... almost a month and HIDExtra hasn't replied. Not good.
I bought a set from Michelle at HIDextra about a year ago on a different forum for a different vehicle altogether. I was satisfied with the purchase and they have preformed with no issues. I actually removed them from the vehicle I originally bought them for when I sold it and I have them installed in my C240's fogs. No codes or flickers, just plug and play. Looks like some bad mojo from them as of recent. Guess I will move on and look elsewhere for my MB headlights.

I had an issue a few weeks ago, I had a ballast go bad on me after over a year of use and although their RMA process is cumbersome, they did pull through and mail me a replacement ballast.

I would rate the purchasing experience a 9/10 and the RMA process a 6/10.

With that said, I would buy from them again.
