Extreme Dimensions who is a sponsor on this site and closer to me (so I can test fit and be involved with the product) has begun the fabrication process of the starless 3 slat grill. The grill will work with C55's and all W209's. Extreme Dimensions will use its structurally proven Duraflex material. No color options or CF will be available at this time (CF may be available in the future, but not this group buy).

Price is $350 per grill (Previous group buy was $475).

That does look great, will there be mounting points for the emblem? I have distronic.

This grill is made without the emblem purposely. It won't work with Distronic, sorry.

can i see the grill on W209? because seeing it on black series doesn't tell me much.

Definitely interested! I tried to photoshop it onto my C55 in Mars Red, but the perspective is all off and i ain't a pro. Still could tell it will look SIKKKK! Anybody got any idea on a C55 Shift Knob Emblem??? The other posts seem to lead nowhere.

Coming along well. It does look like the space between the middle and bottom slat is a little wider than the top slat and the middle slat. Is it just the pics or does it look like that up close? BTW, on the final product the chrome strips will no longer be there right? It would just be a smooth curved surface?
