anyone going to the AMG challenge?
it is scheduled here in D.C. august 9th at Summit Point. $850 admission fee is pretty steep. however, it seems as though they will let you drive the cars as well as be driven.

I'd like to attend but you are right - $850 is steep for a driving event. That does not include lodging.
My buddies and I are wondering what they are going to do with the newly built Grand Prix track at RFK stadium. They have a 10 year contract - so what are they going to do with the track the other 360 days of the year? Lease to events like this or auto clubs? I hope the next DC area "AMG Challenge" will be on this track.
