I'd say 13.3 - 13.6 unmodified would be very good.

Only mods under $1k are going ot be underdrive pullies, filters and maybe putting some heat-shielding under the airbox to prevent heatsoak. Getting the computer done will run you around $1200 by a company like Powerchips. Other than that, headers ($2500-ish) or a blower ($7k - $11k) are about all that's left.

13.3 to 13.5 is about the norm for the 210 E55 in proper condition.

I'm running a 13.1 with my 55. I have Powerchip software, Evo Pullies, K&N filters and exhaust. I'm sure I could get into the 12's if I would buy lighter wheels, like one piece BBS's in 18's or 17's. My other choice is supercharging or getting lower differential gears.

What is the proper way to launch the car? I used to have a wrx and the launch was sooo easy and spinning the tires wasnt a issue at all for me. I raced my friend in his C5 and i took him up until bout 80mph(he spun pretty bad). For the time being i just put the tranny in D4, half accelerate so i dont spin and once im off i just gun it. How can i improve? Also how do i go about doing the heat-sheilding mod? are there any step by step instructions i can find on this? Thanks in Advance.

I wouldn't waste time with the heat shielding since plastic doesn't really "heat soak". You wouldn't notice any performance difference from doing this and it might or might not make the car more consistent in hot weather. Time and effort is going to really not be worth the possible result.

Better to learn how to launch the car. Since these engines make so much torque down low (peak 391 lbs at 3k rpm) it's very difficult. No brake torque at the line, you should "drive" off the line. I'd recommend some really sticky tires or drag radials, and not being fully into the gas until after the 60' mark. After that the car should drive itself.
