Folks,
Just for general information, our W210 E55's are modified at the factory with rolled fenders, option 774 "Shell modification for AMG wheels".
BTW Fabio D, what size are your Aero II's? They appear larger than the stock 18's?
Take care.
Mike K.

loving the CLS wheels look amazing on the car. The 18" reps will fit with spacers, but I agree its a tight fit.

Sorry to bump this to the top..
I'm in the process of buying new tires, now if I understood correctly 285/35 will fit the rear stock 18" correct? If anybody has any recommendations on what to do while buying the tires please do so.

2003 S210 3.8L Brabus wagon
I use the Brabus Mono V 18x8.5 front with 245x40-18 and rear 9.5x18 with 275-35-18. It is lowered 1.70 inch all around with front rolled fender lip. ET is 35 with no spacers. There is no rub but front inside clearance to upper arm bolt is very close. I have tracked the car and there is no rub in the corners. Springs were also replaced with progressive rate Brabus units. Any larger than 245 and I think you are asking for trouble. The rear could handle more than 275 although I have not gone any larger.

The W210 E55 is verydifficult to fit up front. I got inside rubbing using Nitto 555 tires, which have a very broad shoulder, when my offset moved inward only 4mm. OEM front is 18x8 et31 and I put some aftermarket 18x8 et35 and got rubbing inside. I put on Dunlop 9000 and no rub but awfully close to that suspension bolt.

hi guys,
first time posting here and what a wonderful place to dig out all infos on w210s!
recently i m contemplating treating my good buddy 2000 us spec all stock w210 e55 with some new/lighter wheels and been offered a set of 18" BBS RC-J(18"8J/9J ET38ish); the only concerns i have now is front 8J ET38 going to have enough inside clearance?
thanks in advance

What did they rub with exactly? The brake components?

The 18x8 et38 offset will go in 7mm more. The front tire will rub on the top suspension bolt if using a 245/40/18 tire. It might work using a 235/40/18 tire.

Yeah, unfortunately, my fronts are 245/40/18. My car is a Japanese/Euro spec, so the stock sizes were 235/40/18 and 265/35/18 but I bought the fronts (and the previous rears) off another member since they were almost new and he changed his rims.

Hey guys,
Rather than starting a new thread, will revive this one so all the info stays under one.
Would 18 x 8.5 (ET 35) and 18 x 9.5 ET 40) fit out W210 E55? My research says yes but it would boil down to the tire sizes, is that correct? What sizes would fit these wheels?
