4 wheels
um first of all go OU. I have way too many friends and family at TX so I love to go against them.

Second, I would have the pads and rotors checked. They could be warped, cracked, or glazed over. Or there could be something wrong with a motor mount or suspension problem. I would have the dealer check it out ASAP.

Three things come to mind...

1. A worn suspension bushing
2. Motor mount(s)
3. Rusted spring mount

Good luck

A faint thumping/bumping sound from right side center............on braking or moderate acceleration.......................especially when I turn and brake..................my wife could not hear it on the outside when I tried to run her over though (JK :p )

Looks like your engine mounting..... does it sound when the gear changes, especially in hard acceleration?

If you feel it in the steering wheel also while going through rough road, it may be your suspension / tie rod / CV joint. Checking CV joint is easy.... just park your car w/ the wheels turned... and if you see the rubber cover is full of grease.... your CV joint needs to be replaced.

I'd suggest you bring it to a local shop.... not dealers.... it'd cost you arm & leg just to check and have a mechanic check the area chappy and I suggest.

Good luck!

Awesome info! Thanks! You're right...........there is a local shop called Loeffler's in Keller I will take it to..............................I just found out it makes the loudest noise when turning up an incline and just nudging the gas.

Passenger door latch was a little loose causing the door to shift and pop when flexing the body (not mine......the cars!)

Dealership fixed it at no charge!

Popping sound

Check your engine mounts, mine went without warning and thank god I was only going slow at the time.

Merc technician said this was a common problem on E210's.
