Tire size for 19x9 rims for E55
What is the proper size of tire for 19x9 rim. I'm in a debate with tire rack and they are saying the correct size for an E55 is 235/35 with 19x9 front and 19x10 rear (275/30) and I am saying 245/35 is right, cause that is what I see people use on the board.
Copy of email response from tire rack.
With the sizes you indicated, you would have a taller tire on the front than on the rear. (25.7"F / 25.5" R) This would not only look starnge, but the diameter differences may affect the ABS system. By using the 235/35-19 Front, and the 275/30-19 Rear, you will have no problems whatsoever. Both sizes are 25.5" in diameter. Please let me know if you have further questions

That's odd! Their websites 'Upgrade Garage' has 245/35/19 and 275/30/19 listed for 'all' 19 wheels with a staggered setup. They do make mistake and their website has errors. I have sent them two emails because they continue to list 255/35/18 for all 18 inch E55's rear tires. The 18 inch rear should be 275/35/18!

I talked to a few people about this and you really have to do your own homework for this. Proper size is/would 245/35/19 fronts and 275/30/19 for the rears. Just look at my sig!
